If you’re a fan of one today’s recent releases of DRAGON BALL Z, well, you’re in luck. Bandai Namco has delivered some massive news for DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2, DRAGON BALL FighterZ, and DRAGON BALL Z: Kakarot. Also? All the content is free.
If you’re still working to raise your power levels past 9,000, well, you’re in luck. Bandai Namco has confirmed that all their recent releases will be getting some Super Saiyan sized info updates for their games. The first of these massive updates will be delivered tomorrow, August 26th, 2020, for owners of DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2.
The free title update will be available on all platforms, including Stadia (at a later date), which is honestly, pretty darn awesome. The new update will feature Supreme Kai of Time as he joins the character roster of available fighters. A new mission and three new raid events will also be added to the game along with 10 new partner customizations and three new costumes/accessories, which will be available at the time of the release of the update.
That’s not all though. Nine new techniques will be added for you to master alongside 13 new Super Souls, Ultimate Instinct Goku’s ability to use the Divine Kamehameha, new illustrations for load screens, and new mascots will come in color variations. Oh, there’s also a nifty little trailer for you to watch for the new update.
If DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 isn’t your cup of tea and you like your tag-team fighting titles, then DRAGON BALL FighterZ is probably right up your alley. If that’s the case, you can prepare for Master Roshi to join the roster this September. Not a bad little update for you FighterZ out there.
If fighting games, in general, aren’t your idea of fun, well, there’s always the story-driven titles out there for you, which comes in the shape of DRAGON BALL Z: Kakarot, which will receive its second chapter for “A New Power Awakens”. The new chapter will see Goku and Vegeta transform into Super Saiyan God Super Saiyans and with it, the power to use the Ultimate Kamehameha.
Currently, no official date has been revealed as Bandai Namco is still hard at work on getting that DLC ready for you DRAGON BALL Z aficionados. Until then, check out the screenshot gallery up above!
