ExoCorps is dusting off for Early Access this September

ExoCorps is preparing to dust off for Early Access on Steam this September. There will be jetpacks, miniguns, and plenty of frantic combat when it arrives.

When you think of space, jetpacks, and big guns, what series do you think of? For some, it’s Tribes, a series that had drawn fans in for quite some time, set forth the term “Shazbot” and garnished itself a lot of respect in the late 90s and early 2000s.

It left a void when the series came to a close, leaving fans craving for something like it, and now, we may have just that when indie team, Gingerbread, releases their upcoming title ExoCorps into Early Access via Steam on September 17th, 2020.

The team explains that the game does find a lot of inspiration from classic games such as Counter-Strike, Tribes, and even anime titles like Macross. The title will offer up plenty of moments where you’ll find the chaotic pacing of Unreal Tournament come to life when the bullets begin to fly.

You’ll be heading into space, taking across the solar system in online multiplayer FPS action while using a six-in-one multirifle, dishing out auto-cannon fire, multiple rockets, plasma bolts, and a m minigun. You can also expect a railgun (sniper rifle) just over the horizon too. So, there’s that.

Modes will include deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and all of this across five different maps. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta find that coffee mug that I left floating around near Jupiter.
