If you are as excited as we are for MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON after the PlayStation 4 exclusive technical test, don’t feel as if pre-orders aren’t going live ahead of the game’s July 30th, 2020, release date. When we previewed the game back in April, we absolutely loved what the game had to offer, including an intricate battle system that made each and every mobile suit feel uniquely different from the other.

Those pre-order will get access to the playable Mobile Suit Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex and access to the Operator “Sthesia Awar” in Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2. Those interested can also jump into the weekly MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON for up to 24 hours every weekend. Those who do pre-order will get extended access up to 48 hours over the course of each weekend leading up to the official launch.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. has unveiled the pre-order bonuses for MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON. Players who pre-order the title will receive the playable Mobile Suit Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, and access to Operator “Sthesia Awar” in Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2.* The MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON open access period has now begun, allowing all players to play MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON for up to 24 hours every weekend, but for those who pre-order the game, they will receive an additional 24 hours, for a total of 48 hours of open access each weekend.

This will give fans a chance to try out all 185 playable units from across 36 different GUNDAM iterations ranging from the 40+ years of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, “It comes off as a solid brawler, but also as an equally as strong ranged tactician, allowing their partner to quickly little down an enemy that has been stunned or knocked tot he ground.

However, while this sounds the game is newcomer-friendly, I found it to be quite the opposite. This game, unlike most, isn’t your usual fighter or mech-based shooter title. It’s one that requires patience, practice, and for you to find areas to improve upon as well as making adjustments to your gameplay style,” we stated in our preview for MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM VS MAXIBOOST ON.
