As they prepare for the release of Project CARS 3, Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco have confirmed an August release date for their upcoming title, Project CARS 3, which will be launching on PC and current-gen consoles.

As racers begin to prepare for races at the newly-added venues and with some of the hottest cars in the industry, they have only a short while longer to wait as races will begin on August 28th, 2020, for the Americas, for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

The title will feature new venues including the Brazilian Grand Prix, Interlagos, and Tuscany. All of them will be available at launch with players taking on their full-fledged careers as some of the best racers in the world using one of the biggest rosters in the history of the Project CARS franchise.

The game will also introduce rookie drivers to the world of motor racing at its most intense levels using authentic car upgrades, customization options for both cars and drivers, and improved assists to help them race with the best of the best. These all, of course, can be fine-tuned to fit a driver’s needs.

It’ll certainly be worth the wait as the tracks are almost ready, racers are preparing to start their engines, and Bandai Namco prepares us all for the biggest races of our lives. “For those that prefer gamepads, the game feels authentic and enjoyable. I didn’t even feel the need to alter any of my settings; I am still, even now, using the out-of-the-box Project CARS 2 settings. They’re manageable and well planted. Unlike the racing wheel, the game does feel a bit more tire on turn-in. Thankfully, you don’t need a racing wheel to enjoy the game at all,” we stated in our review for Project CARS 2 back in 2017.

We’re pretty sure the sentimentality will stick in 2020.
