If you’ve been holding off on renewing your PlayStation Plus or even snagging some of this generation’s heaviest hitters, no worries, you can save big on new releases such as Persona 5 Royal in this years Days of Play Sale and we’ll help you find where you can save big.

It’s that time of year again when Sony decides to bring in their Days of Play sale. It aims to give fans massive savings on PlayStation titles, some exclusives, some not, but also some major savings on things such as subscriptions to PlayStation Plus and their PlayStation Now service.

This year, there’s no exception and Sony has begun to list their discounts on both their digital storefront and with participating retailers such as Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy. These deals, while only reaching a maximum of 50% off, aren’t bad deals at all, making games such as my personal favorite – Horizon Zero Dawn – a cool $10 alongside games like The Last of Us Remastered and Gran Turismo Sport.

But, you might be wondering about how to get a hold of some of the newer releases such as MLB The Show 20, Dreams, or perhaps even that nifty recent release of Persona 5 Royal. Well, we’re here to help you find a few of those hefty discounted games and even a few of our top picks from this generation altogether. So let’s look at those newer releases real quick and discuss price points and how to get them.

Best Buy and Target Sales

Well, this one may come off as a shocker. Best Buy actually doesn’t have a Days of Play sale going, but, that doesn’t mean you can’t get the offers there. Best Buy has a great approach to customer service thanks to their offering effective competitor pricing right out the door, especially if you can go in-store or if you can get a hold of customer support for their curbside pick-up orders.

Regardless, if they have it in stock and you want your item through them instead of GameStop or Amazon? You’re in luck and you really won’t be hurting getting those physical goodies, as long as you can competitor price a “Sold and Shipped From” when it comes to Newegg, Amazon, Wal-Mart, GameStop or even Target.

Not bad really, but still, not the best option here since the stores are still closed, for the most part, around the nation due to rising concerns over COVID-19.
