Rune Factory 4 Special officially launches on Nintendo Switch today

Since its initial release on the Nintendo 3DS in 2013, Rune Factory 4 has captured the hearts of fans around the world, and now, it’s looking to do it again with a newly reimagined version on the Nintendo Switch with Rune Factory 4 Special.

After seven years since our review of Rune Factory 4 for Nintendo 3DSit seems that Marvelous USA and XSEED Games continues to acknowledge the love fans have given the title, which has led to another release of the game, but this time, with tons of enhancements and all previously released content at our fingertips.

With the release of both the base game and its special ‘Archival Edition’, fans can once more jump into the game with all DLC, some special goodies, and even relive their previous experiences in beautiful HD graphics. Those who opt to pick up the ‘Archival Edition’ for $59.99 can get a beautifully boxed edition. Those purchasing the game can also snag the ‘Another Episode Pack’ DLC, which contains 12 all-new storybook-style episodes narrated by each of the game’s marriage candidates for the first 4 weeks of release via the Nintendo eShop.
