SEGA has confirmed that two of their most beloved games of the last generation will be headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as one single bundle. The collection will include both games as a physical or digital purchase. Here’s everything you need to know.
Bayonetta and Vanquish remain some of the most beloved titles to come from PlatinumGames. They’re fast, they’re chaotic, and their stories are some of the most memorable fans have ever played, building a cult-following since their original launches back in 2009.
Announced just recently, SEGA has revealed that the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle. The Bundle will be launching on February 18th, 2020, and will run you $39.99 to grab the steelbook edition of the game. Players will be able to grab the bundle together in both digital and physical formats, both of which, will see the games running at 60fps and 4K on both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
SEGA has stated that the steelbook is a unique collaboration between them and Weapons Van, which sees the team up happen in order to celebrate the anniversaries of both games in style. The collaboration sees the SteelBook get a special treatment as it has brand-new key art for both Bayonetta and Vanquish. The art was created by artist Dan Dussault, with the supervision of Bayonetta Director Hideki Kamiya of both PlatinumGames, and SEGA.
“This was a dream project for us at Weapons Van and we cannot thank SEGA & PlatinumGames enough for this opportunity to apply our art direction to the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle covers. We absolutely love both titles and handpicked Dan Dussault because we knew he could knock it out of the park with his attention to detail and his ability to capture motion in his art,” states Weapons Van in response to working together on the collaboration.
Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is set to launch on February 18th, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
