When it comes to giving back, The Elder Scrolls Online community is one of the best at doing it. The recent charity they’ve partaken in has shown this as well through in-game content as well as their ability to help give back to those in need.
When it comes to charity and fundraising, The Elder Scrolls Online players have shown why their one of the strongest communities out there, and it isn’t something to scoff at by any means necessary. The community has helped raise over $200,000 USD to help save and improve the lives of pets across the world through the Best Friends Animal Society (NA) and FOUR PAWS(pan-European) as of recent.
How did they do it? Well, they went and slew a ton of dragons. How many? Well, over one million dragons to be exact. Bethesda revealed today that players earned $1 USD per slain dragon, up to $200,000 USD in total, which helped in-game feline citizens, but also, animals around the world. The total donation concluded at $201,509.34 USD when said and done. The donation will be split between both the Best Friends Animal Society and Four Paws.
Additionally, fans have also donated more than $1,509.34 towards the charities themselves. Not a bad day for some four-legged friends of ours across the globe. Meanwhile, players are still helping those feline friends of ours in Elsweyr by slaying dragons and enjoying the Dragonhold DLC on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
