Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Patch 5.11 brings in the restoration of the Holy See of Ishgard, The Epic of Alexander, Ultimate difficulty raid, and plenty more with its latest content drop. Here’s the low down.

In today’s update, Patch 5.11, Square Enix released the latest content drop that invites players together in a new type of gameplay experience with the Ishard Restoration content, which sees players across entire Worlds to work together, each one working together in order to rebuild the Holy See of Ishgard.

This new piece of Crafter and Gatherer Content will see players work together to restore the Firmament district to its former glory, how it appeared before the Dragonsong War. The efforts made by the community will show with time, allowing players to collect and even craft construction materials or by completing various tasks, which allows each player to contribute and receive various awards for their efforts.

Along with the new efforts comes new mounts, minions, emotes, housing furnishings, hairstyles, and plenty more. Next up is the biggest part of this update yet – the games first Ultimate Difficulty Raid which will see players once more traverse through a harrowing adventure in “The Epic of Alexander” – an epic, but tragic tale of a mechanical god who placed too much of his trust in a single mortal soul.

This raid will push even the bravest of players to their limits as they battle many of the former foes of Alexander and put their skills to the ultimate test. Ontop of the newly released content, Square has outlined some of the upcoming content coming with Patch 5.15, which can be viewed below. Additionally, full Patch 5.11 notes are available for those looking to get up to speed with what comes with the patch.
