Bubble Bobble 4 set to launch in 2020, will launch as a Nintendo Switch exclusive

ININ Games will be releasing the fourth entry in the cult classic series that originally launched in the ’80s by developer TAITO. The latest title is Bubble Bobble 4, which will release in 2020 for the West.

Growing up, there was one series my family and I loved to play whenever we had a Friday night when my dad was off. That series just happened to be the cult-classic Bubble Bobble where you took on the role of two cute little dinosaurs, jumping around, eating fruit, and clearing levels as fast as you could.

Now, it seems that ININ Games and TAITO Corporation are carrying on that tradition with the fourth installment in the 30-plus-year-old series with Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, which will see our cute little dino-friends once more take to the center stage.

They aren’t done there yet though. Alongside releasing the original 1986 arcade version of Bubble Bobble for fans to enjoy. 200 total levels to enjoy with our green and blue dino-pals. ININ Games has confirmed that the TAITO classic will ship side-by-side as a bundle with Bubble Bobble 4 Friends.

Those who do snag the game during its pre-release window, you can get your hands on a Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Special Edition that will feature Bub and Bob keychains, a poster, and four trading cards to collect. The game will be launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 19th, 2019, for Europe and Australia with the America’s expected to get the game in the first quarter of 2020.
