Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery is set to invade mobile devices later this year on both iOS and Android Devices. Illumix is prepared to deliver a few frightful shouts while on the go. Here’s what you need to know.

When I first heard about Five Night’s at Freddy’s, it was no doubt because of a YouTuber by the name of Markiplier. I’d been searching his channel, watching him panic at what seemed like almost over-exaggerated moments of his time with the game before learning that was his general reaction to the overall series.

Since then, I’ve been a fan, diving in whenever I can on my PC. Today, however, that’s about to change thanks to some astounding news coming from series creator Scott Cawthon, who came out to announce he would be heading into hiatus. While he did, Illumix had just dropped a minor teaser regarding the series, setting the FNaF fandom into a frenzy.

After much-speculation, Illumix has since confirmed that a Five Nights at Freddy’s AR title is definitely in the works and will be headed to mobile devices rather soon, with pre-registration preparing to open up for Five Night’s at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery, “Augmented Reality offers new ways for players to interact and engage with their favorite franchises by blending real-world environments, fictional characters, and innovative gameplay,” explains Kirin Sinha, CEO and Founder of Illumix.

“With Five Nights at Fredddy’s AR: Special Delivery, we wanted to evolve beyond the traditional AR-optional geolocation gameplay and deliver a more meaningful AR experience by having AR as the core component of the games, ” continues Kirin Sinha. There’s no doubt that AR would work rather well, giving fans a chance to survive against the deadly animatronics from FNaF.

The series has stood strong among Five Nights at Freddy’s fans, having seen over eight billion views for content related to the PC games, mobile ports, and VR offerings of the series. The games have also been downloaded over 100 million times, with a feature film currently in the works.

If you want to give Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery a whirl, you’ll want to head over to the official website for the game via https://www.fnafar.com in order to pre-register today.

Stay tuned as we’ll keep you up to date as we receive more information about the upcoming title.
