Blair Witch is currently in development for PC and Xbox One by Bloober Team in cooperation with Lionsgate. Today at Gamescom 2019, the two have released their latest trailer, which sets the tone for the upcoming title, set to release later this month.

Ahead of the August 30th, 2019, launch of Blair Witch, a first-person horror game set in the world of the cult classic films, players will need to ready themselves as they enjoy a title that combines exploration with a found footage title.

The latest trailer sets the tone for this all-original story set within the Black Hills Forest that was established 20 years ago in the found footage film from Lionsgate in 1999. The  new trailer reveals a series of flashbacks, a set of eerie visions that plague Ellis as he adventures throughout the Black Hills Forest.

Alongside the small flashes of memories, hallucinations, and adventure, we were also given a glimpse at what awaits Ellis as he discovers the house of the Blair Witch itself. With the trailer, Bloober Team and Lionsgate both have also revealed that the game will be exclusive to PC and Xbox One when it launches, allowing it to become available through Xbox Game Pass on August 30th, 2019.

The game can be purchased separately for those who do have an Xbox Game Pass membership. The game will run at 4K resolutions on both PC and Xbox One X devices, allowing fans to take on a high-resolution experience with a crisp and clean experience. You can pre-order the game today and prepare to play when the game launches later this month.
