11 bit studios have announced that their anti-war survival title, This War of Mine will be releasing on Nintendo Switch featuring all previously released DLC as well as a few minor adjustments to the game. Find out what you need to know including changes to the game and when it launches today along with the brand new trailer.
Since its launch in 2014, This War of Mine has been an amazing experience, but also an emotional rollercoaster ride for those that experience its take on the world of the survivors and the war that has torn their worlds apart. Whether it’s through the ever-expanding scenarios, stories, added cost or new locations; fans have enjoyed countless hours of the heartbreaking experiences that unfold before them.
When children were added to the game, the reality behind such events became even more of a wake-up call and now, with “Father’s Promise” and “War Child”, the story became even more real, but the efforts behind the DLC never really noticed by the community. 11 bit studios aren’t just releasing DLC to raise awareness by those affected by war, but rather, they are also raising funds through their game to support the UK based charity called War Child.
Starting on Nov. 27th, 2018, all DLC for the game will be available with the “This War of Mine Complete Edition” having been completely developed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. While you await the release, you can see the full reveal trailer down below.
You can see just how the single death of a survivor named Katia had impacted the game and made the in-game “apartment felt empty. We all, even myself, were traumatized. We’d not come to terms with the friend and loved one we’d come to cherish in recent days. Just trying to scavenge became a task of its own as Arica became unresponsive, ridden with remorse about our loss.”
This War of Mine: Complete Edition will include all of the previously released DLC “The Little Ones”, “Father’s Promise”, all expansions that have been released, and will include all future DLC for free. Priced at $39.99 both in retail and digital, This War of Mine is published in partnership with Deep Silver.
This War of Mine is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $19.99.
