Warframe’s Fortuna update to release on PC this week, soon on consoles

In preparation for the release of Fortuna, fans around the world have begun to farm for items, save up their resources and finish out any tasks they have left on Cetus. Now, all eyes are set on Venus as the release of Fortuna begins to draw nearer with the PC release landing this week and consoles following soon.

In a surprise announcement earlier today via the official Warframe website, developer and publisher, Digital Extremes, revealed that the highly anticipated update Fortuna will be launching on PC later this week free-of-charge to all who play.

Along with the announcement for the PC versions release, Digital Extremes has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Fortuna will be released soon. This could mean one of two things: Both have been submitted for certification or both are getting their finishing touches and then will be submitted for certification from both Microsoft and Sony.

Warframe is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One free-of-charge. A Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to launch later this month and will feature the game and all its content up-to-date. Stay tuned for our impressions of the Switch version this December.
