As some fans are gearing up to visit the historically accurate world of Battlefield V, PC fans are preparing to see the future of warfare through World War 3 from indie studio Farm 51.

Announced just weeks ago as to its Early Access date of Oct. 19, 2018, Farm 51 has revealed that World War 3 is truly ready for its Early Access debut exclusively on PC via Steam. Over the past few weeks, Farm 51 has confirmed that they have spent time analyzing the results of their closed tests from thousands of players around the world.

Those looking to see the new face of war can do so starting Oct. 19, 2018, for $28 USD. A rather affordable and friendly price compared to some of the upcoming titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops IV and EA’s Battlefield V. This title will give fans a chance to battle it out on some of today’s most realistic maps as infantry or armored units.

Players will have to concern themselves with a robust ballistics system, full body awareness, the use of advanced armors and life-like weapons as well as the importance of working with a team. Farm 51 has been hard at work in producing the game, which has been developed with the help of military R&D centers and consultants in order to offer one of the most realistic games to date.

World War 3 is a tactical, multiplayer military FPS set in a modern, global conflict. Strong teamplay, national armed forces, real locations, full body awareness, and a versatile customization system all contribute to the authenticity of the modern combat experience enhanced by other essential elements such as a robust ballistic system, advanced armors and life-like weapons. Produced in cooperation with military R&D centers and consultants, World War 3 shows the consequences of every battle in the context of a global war campaign on a strategic war map.
