Final Fantasy XV’s new update is a cross-over event with Sakaguchi’s Terra Wars

The father of Final Fantasy has once more returned to the Final Fantasy universe in the latest update which features a cross-over quest featuring Hironobu Sakaguchi’s latest game Terra Wars.

Available now for download, Square Enix and Hironobu Sakaguchi have revealed that they have released a crossover piece of content during TGS 2018. As part of their announcement, Sakaguchi and Square Enix have announced that Mistwalker Corporation’s mobile game Terra Wars has crossed over into Final Fantasy XV with the games latest update.

The game has both seen a few new features added as well including an info menu on the title screen, we’ve also gotten a full-fledged single-player questline that adds entirely new items to collect including some crossover content for Comrades, music tracks for the Regalia from both Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the mobile game DJ Nobunaga.

At this time, Terra Wars is still under development for mobile devices and will be released by Hironobu Sakaguchi’s studio Mistwalker Corporation. Alongside this new update, Square Enix has released an official trailer for the new update for fans to enjoy.

Final Fantasy XV and Shadow of the Tomb Raider are both available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Final Fantasy XV is expected to get newly released DLC sometime in 2019 for all platforms. At this time, Square has not outlined what type of content you can expect, but have confirmed that it is on its way and will expand their already released title with more DLC to enjoy.
