For fans of LawBreakers there seemed to be a bit of hope as studio Boss Key Productions seemed to be gearing up for new content for their troubled game. However, yesterday, Boss Key Productions proved everyone wrong and announced their free-to-play Battle Royale title Radical Heights.

Radical Heights, which has launched as an Early Access title on Steam, is described by Boss Key Productions as a last-man-standing shooter that is set in a ’90s aesthetic setting with a game-show twist.

Radical Heights is a five month passion project for the studio as we’re creating and publishing the game entirely by ourselves, said Zach Lowery, Creative Director of Radical Heights in a statement. “We’re huge fans of Battle Royale games along with the bright, inviting irreverence of the 80’s aesthetic. Because of that, we want to put our own spin on the genre and create a futuristic 80’s world that takes place in 2023 during an over-the-top game show where contestants battle it out for fame and prizes.

With Radical Heights is readily available, it is worth noting that the game is in extreme Early Access and does have its fair share of bugs including friendslists not appearing, game crashes, and limited features that players will get to enjoy. Boss Key Productions has confirmed that they will be growing with their community and hope that Radical Heights is a game that will exceed player and industry expectations as a fresh-new-take on the Battle Royale genre.

Want to give it a try? You can download it now for free via Steam: Radical Heights Steam Store Page.
