The original Zone of the Enders launched in 2001, which will be heading to the PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR support 16 years later. This new remaster is the first time we’ve heard of the franchise since the controversies between Hideo Kojima and Konami first came to light. The new version is called ANUBIS Zone of the Enders: M∀RS.
The newest version will come with 4K graphics support, new sound designs with HD sound, and new optional PlayStation VR capabilities for fans to enjoy. The newest version is currently in development between Cygames, the studio behind Granblue Fantasy on mobile devices. There is no word if this version is getting a worldwide release in 2018. Currently Konami has only stated that this upcoming version will be launching in Spring of 2018 in Japan.
