Are you ready to step back into the role of the Caped Crusader? Teaming up again Telltale Games, DC entertainment, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, have announced that fans will get to do that in their upcoming title Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series will be a new five-part, episodic game series that will once more introduce players into the world of Bruce Wayne.
The first episode named ‘The Enigma,’ is set to release on August 8th, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and will – at a later date – launch for iOS and Android-based devices. For those wanting to grab the full series, can purchase a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ when the game launches physically this October for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. the first episode will be on the disc, but will require players to download each subsequent episode using an online connection.
Once players do, they will take on the role of Bruce Wayne and his persona Batman as they are forced through peculiar situations once more. In the game, the Riddler, has returned to Gotham, and his reign of terror is just about to begin. His gruesome puzzles will become a centerpiece for players as he puts Batman to the ultimate test of knowledge and riddles. Let alone is he now in Gotham, the Joker has once more returned where both Bruce Wayne and Batman will need to undertake perilous adventures of deception and uneasy alliances.
Additionally, if you purchase this new season, it will be accessible to both fans new and old alike. It will welcome fans of the first season Batman: The Telltale Series by allowing them to carry over their progress from the last game into The Enemy Within. Let alone will the game allow this, fans can also let their friends assist them with the new ‘Crowd Play’ feature. This feature will allow them to help engage in the adventure by helping players decide the direction of their story through any mobile device with an online connection.
Batman: The Enemy Within will be a standalone product from the last season. Just like previously, the series is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and is based on one of DC’s most iconic characters in the DC universe. The series will be available for download later this year as it is currently in development. The game has not been rated by the ESRP.
