Last year Ubisoft announced one of the most anticipated games to date for Rainbow Six fans. After years in silence, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six began production on its newest title under the name of Rainbow Six Siege. With the game they anounced that it would be the latest step in bringing players back to the well known scenario that will deliver tactical gameplay and team communication as key components to ensure that fans would work together in order to hunt down their enemies. With this announcement, Ubisoft announced that this latest installment will be landing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft and Windows PC on October 13th of this year.

With this announcement at E3 2015, Ubisoft has also announced that Terrorist Hunt will once more be allowing for fans to go into the world of taking out enemies from the center of a known global crisis caused by the terrorist cell, the White Masks. With this game mode coming back, Ubisoft has announced that the game will feature a new and advanced AI, new challenges, and like before; addictive and highly replayable content that can be enjoyed solo or in cooperative modes.

With the announcement of Terrorist Hunt, Ubisoft has also announced that the award-winning (and a personal favourite of mine) will be taking the role of the famed deputy director of Rainbow Six, the counter-terrorism unit of the team named Six. As Six once more activates the Rainbow Six program, players will reprise the role of famed memories of the team from around the world. That is where players will discover how to take down the White Mask terrorist group and in turn, take down enemies throughout the world in each of the games various missions.

Remember, only pre-orders will be getting in on this Closed Beta that is only available at participating retailers.

Our Take:

It’s not a secret that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has been a rather long awaited title. Having been initially announced as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Patriot’s, fans have been waiting to see what direction the game would go, and with Siege, it’s no surprise that Ubisoft is going to take precautions with this title in the means of things such as closed beta’s to ensure that fans will get to enjoy the game. Let alone take on a world unlike any other. Now? We just play the waiting game to see how far the game can go and where they will take us with this entry.
