QuakeCon 2021 to be an all-digital event from August 19th to August 21st

QuakeCon 2021 will be taking on the digital approach to ensure the safety of volunteers, employees, the community, and their fans with an all-digital event for QuakeCon 2021.

As concerns about COVID-19 continue, many events have begun to plan out their 2021 endeavors, and how they will proceed with connecting with their communities. For QuakeCon 2021, Bethesda has revealed that they will be taking the all-digital approach for 2021, giving their volunteers, staff, the community, and the surrounding citizens of Dallas, TX, an online event that fans can enjoy.

Just like ourselves, Bethesda can’t wait to get back to Dallas, TX, bringing with them all the goodness that is QuakeCon itself. That includes the BYOC, the opportunity to meet the developers, get together with your pals, and just enjoy a good time grabbing some convention-exclusive merchandise and goodies from the various vendors while you can.

In an official statement Bethesda writes “We can’t wait to get back to Dallas with our QuakeCon family, but for the continued safety of our staff, the volunteers, and the community, this year’s QuakeCon will once again be a digital-only event. We’ll have all the Peace, Love, and Rockets – remotely – August 19-21.”

If the approach works just as it did last year, a lot of stuff will be going on through the official Discord Server, and of course, through various streams that will take place on the official Bethesda Twitch channel. You can surely expect to see some content surrounding Deathloop, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Fallout 76 as Deathloop will have just released alongside the new Gates of Oblivion expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, and the ramp-up to the Fallout 76 fall content drops.
