‘Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’ delayed indefinitely, pre-orders put on hold

Paradox Interactive has confirmed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been indefinitely delayed as they part with developer Hardsuit Labs.

It seems that this past year has been filled with delays and more delays. The latest one comes in the shape of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which has no been indefinitely delayed as Paradox Interactive parted ways with developer Hardsuit Labs. As a result of the departure, Paradox has revealed that they are canceling pre-orders for the game at all participating retailers.

Unfortunately, this does mean that no window is available for when fans can expect the long-awaited title to launch. The company has revealed stated in a Twitter post that “this game is very important to us and it has been an ambitious project from the very start. In order to meet our goals for it, we’ve come to the conclusion that a change is needed and, as a result, more development time is required.”

This is the second major delay for the game, which saw it move from Summer 2020 to 2021 when the title’s creative director and lead writer had been revealed. Now, it seems, that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 could be in limbo for quite some time for fans of the franchise.
