Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity launches on Nov. 20

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will explore the events leading up to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild before the world was shrouded in darkness by an evil force. The upcoming title will launch exclusively for Switch this November.

Set just a century before the events of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, fans can explore the lands of Hyrule before the Great Calamity occured, giving them an experience unlike any other that they have experienced yet.

While fans have never had a chance to explore those events, Nintendo has revealed that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, will finally allow fans to experience those very events and face down against the evil forces they must fight against in an attempt to save all of Hyrule.

Players will get to take on the roles of characters such as Link and Zelda, along with four other characters, who for the very first time, become playable champions in the Hyrule Warriors series.

Along with the announcement, Nintendo has revealed that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now available for pre-order ahead of its November 20th, 2020, launch.

“Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a must-play for fans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Roll up your blue tunic sleeves and get ready for a dramatic and surprising adventure through Hyrulean history this holiday season.”

Fans of both Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition and Fire Emblem Warriors will have a lot to look forward to come later this year.
