Preparing to wrap up Season 1 of Warlords of New York, Ubisoft has revealed that The Division 2 will begin receiving its major improvements and fixes update next week, one week ahead of the next major Season that will feature new endgame content for Division Agents to enjoy. Here’s what you need to know.
Starting next week, Division agents can roll into the streets of New York with some new content to enjoy, which brings in a new raid, and plenty more starting June 16th, 2020. The highly anticipated second raid will be available on June 23rd, 2020, and will see Division agents put their skills to the ultimate test.
As part of the upcoming update, Ubisoft has outlined many key areas that are being improved next week, which includes fine-tuned gameplay and delivery as well as some much-needed balancing to the title. Among these comes various improvements to player power, increasing features such as increased damage for nearly all weapons (exotics included), brand set improvements, gear set improvements, overall loot quality, loot quality scaling with difficulty, and crafted item qualities.
They’ve also confirmed fixes and balancing are among the many features of this latest update. Season 2 will find itself hanging in that balance as well, bringing in new progressive endgame content for agents wanting to put their skills and equipment to the test. The game continues moving forward with its three-month-long narrative-driven mini-campaigns following the conclusion of the base-story for Warlords of New York and Aaron Keener’s Legacy.
As part of the content, players will continue hunting down the new rogue cell and stop them in order to completely neutralize the threat Keener left behind. Season 2 will usher in the ability to unlock unique rewards that include two new exotic items, a new skill variant, and a brand-new gear set. Season 2 can be played for free for those with access to the Warlords of New York expansion.

Leagues: A series of challenges for players, with opportunities to unlock rewards based on players’ ability to complete challenges
Global Events: Time-limited in-game events during which a global modifier is applied to the entire game and players will be rewarded for completing specific tasks.Operation Iron Horse: In the Second Raid, players will face a new challenge that teams of eight must work together to overcome. Additionally, exclusive rewards will be available for both Level 30 and Level 40 players as they tackle the most challenging mission in the game thus far. The release date of the Second Raid will be revealed in the near future.
