Assassin’s Creed will be heading into the home of the Vikings and their gods in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which will be revealed tomorrow by Ubisoft as well as release window information and platforms available.
Ubisoft has officially announced the title for the next Assassin’s Creed title in the series. As part of their tease regarding tomorrow’s big reveal, they have teased a new image from artist Kode Abdo aka Bosslogic (as seen below)
The promo art only shows off its Norse-inspired setting for the upcoming game along with a grizzled Viking warrior and his braided beard while wielding a massive ax. Don’t worry, it’s not Kratos’ ax, but the cross-over would be delightful for the upcoming title.
It definitely seems, however, that Ubisoft is gearing up for their first major release for this year’s upcoming next-gen consoles, which includes the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Ubisoft has revealed that the full trailer reveal is set for April 30th, 2020, at 8am PDT, 10am CDT and 11am EDT.
This will be the first all-new title in the series since the 2018 release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which became one of the most critically-acclaimed titles in the series, using RPG-like mechanics in ways never before imagined that made it stand out from its sister titles.
It is unclear whether or not Ubisoft will be launching the title this year or if it will still be a while out before anything else gets discussed regarding release windows and the likes.
