Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time brings the best of the animated series to life when it launches in Summer 2020, with an all-new story by head writer Darrick Bachman. There’s even a nifty little trailer.
Announced recently by Adult Swim Games and Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky alongside developer Soleil Games, fans can take on an all-new and surprising adventure with Samurai Jack when Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this summer.
The game is set to take place immediately before Samurai Jack’s ultimate confrontation against Aku, his arch-nemesis, and will see players try to free his friends in an alternate timeline, allowing him to team up against his closest friends and allies in order to take on some familiar foes he has faced off against throughout the series.
In this 3D action-platformer, players can enjoy classic combat, stylized 3D art that reflects the series, and the series’ renowned use of humor and drama alike. Don’t forget, you’ll also be jumping straight into the shoes of Samurai Jack using a dozen unique melee and ranged weapons as you please, special combos and abilities, alongside the ability to traverse an all-new world.
Also, if you’re attending PAX East, head over to the Dragonfly Theater where Genndy Tartakovsky and Darrick Bachman will be giving an Adult Swim Games Panel about their upcoming title tomorrow, February 28th, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. You can also head to the Adult Swim party on Saturday, February 29th, 2020, at the Grand Boston.
