Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition set to release on Switch on February 20th

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition will see Dante’s adventure continue in the prequel to the series that set everything in motion. Capcom has revealed that the latest entry will launch on February 20th, 2020, for Nintendo Switch as a digital title.

Set years before the iconic action series started, Capcom invites Nintendo Switch users to explore the origin story that explores Dante’s past and find out what led to him and his twin brother Vergil’s grudge against one another. Players will be able to enjoy the third entry in the long-running and critically-acclaimed series starting on February 20th, 2020, for $19.99.

In the title, players will get to enjoy the non-stop and intense action the franchise is known for, including a new “style” based combat system that features multiple options to enjoy including Swordmaster and Gunslinger gameplay styles, each one will change how players choose to enjoy the game, including what kind of powers that Dante will use.

For those looking to purchase the game to expand their collection of Devil May Cry titles on the Switch can purchase both Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2 for $19.99 digitally. To add to the Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition experience, Capcom has revealed the Switch version will offer the addition of Vergil as a playable character and the Bloody Palace survival modes as part of the offering of the game.
