As of today, Hunters in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne can enjoy the latest collaboration which sees Resident Evil’s Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy join the hunt, alongside some various other gear including Palico gear and fan-made weapon designs. Other events have been outlined as well.

Starting today, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne players can dive on in and have a chance to unlock special gear that can help them look like Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy as Resident Evil 2 makes its way to the world in the latest collaboration. The free content is now available for all platforms with a PlayStation 4 event coming soon as part of a continued collaboration between Capcom and Guerrilla Games.

Starting on November 21st, fans can jump back into the hunt with Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds as Aloy and friends make their return with special gear that players can unlock during the first round of event quests unlocks. Capcom has confirmed that a new round of Seasonal Content will be available starting this December alongside additional Horizon Zero Dawn content (could it be we finally hunt a Thunderjaw or a Stormbird?)

Those looking to partake in the Raccoon City collaboration will need to be MR20 or above in order to acquire the materials to craft both the Leon α+ and Claire α+ layered armor sets plus three Raccoon City-themed pendant in order to decorate your favorite weapons. Resident Evil 2 can take over Your Room as well with a wide array of content including themed decorations for hunters to fill their room with. Just don’t forget to use the zombie-themed emotes.

There will also be a paid DLC costume that transforms your favorite Handler into a “trenchcoat-wearing, quest journal-wielding brute to join hunters on quests, prepare meals at camp, and even appear in cut-scenes.” That content will be able to be found on the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store or Steam based on your platform of choice.

Additionally, players can also look forward to enjoying new gear from the Monster Hunter Community in another Weapon Design and Palico Contest Gear Winners questline which will see specially designed Palico gear and a brand-new weapon joining the game. You can check out the official details down below:

The Monster Hunter community is an extremely passionate and artistic group. The winning entries of the Iceborne weapon design and Palico gear contest were revealed last month at New York Comic-Con. The Black Eagle Charge Blade designed by “sheep” features black feathers which open up into a wing-like silhouette when changing from its sword form into axe mode. The Felyne Wiggler α+ Palico gear designed by “Zyralynn_art” offers a matching twist on the fan-favorite Wiggler gear, previously only available for hunters, and will now be available for their trusty companions. The winning weapon design and Palico gear can be crafted by Iceborne players via materials gathered from two new quests available from 4pm PT on November 7.

Want to know a bit more about the Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds Collaboration for PlayStation 4 users? You’ll want to read below as there are some special details:

Aloy journeys to the frozen wilds of Hoarfrost Reach in an exclusive upcoming collaboration for PlayStation®4 players. The first round of an exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn™: The Frozen Wilds collaboration will become available starting November 21, giving players who are MR24 or above a chance to craft a Light Bowgun based on Aloy’s Stormslinger Prototype. The collaboration quest will reward players with special materials used to craft the Horizon Zero Dawn™: The Frozen Wilds equipment. Additionally, hunters will receive a Pendant designed as Aloy’s Focus that they can attach to their favorite weapon upon completing this special quest.

For PlayStation®4 players, additional rounds of the exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds collaboration will become available in December, with even more free content featuring new event quests and themed gear for players to craft. Hunters will be able to build a full armor set fashioned after the Shield-Weaver armor in Horizon Zero Dawn and embark on new event quests to upgrade the Stormslinger weapon from the first round of quests in November. Additionally as part of the December content, hunters will be able to craft the new Banuk armor set and there will also be quests to upgrade Aloy’s Bow and the Felyne Watcher equipment that were available in Monster Hunter: World

Along with the two upcoming events, Capcom has confirmed the December 2019 updates which will include a new monster that will be revealed rather soon, expanding upon the already massive roster. Players, however, will find something unique out of this year’s seasonal fests. They’ll be held in both hub areas for both Astera and Seliana.

This year will also highlight a return of nearly all of the previous seasonal quests, limited bounties, special items, and many more. Capcom has stated that more content will be delivered in 2020, more information to be shared at a later date.
