Call of Juarez: Gunslinger set to launch on Nintendo Switch this December

Six years since the original release of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Techland has confirmed that their title will see an upcoming release on Nintendo Switch, starting this December 10th, 2019.

Originally released on May 14th, 2013, for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger took players to places we’d yet to experience in the style that Techland had designed for players. An experience that took players on a Wild West adventure as a ruthless bounty hunter that’s hot on the trail of some of the most notorious outlaws in the West.

Techland and Square Enix have once more prepared to set players on that blazing path once again, this time on the Nintendo Switch starting on December 10th, 2019. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will feature Switch-exclusive upgrades including Motion Control and HD rumble when it launches.

Players will have a chance to relive their hunting of some of the Wild West’s most notorious gunslingers including Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett, and Jesse James while blazing through the Wild West, living an epic adventure that fans have enjoyed once before.

“This is our homage to Wild West tales, an epic and violent journey of a ruthless bounty hunter on the trail of the West’s most notorious outlaws. Blurring the lines between man and myth, this adventure made of memorable encounters, unveils the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West. Our Call of Juarez: Gunslinger journey really took us places, and we all agree the game is perfect for the Nintendo Switch. It actually feels like the Switch was made for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger“ – said Wojciech Kuśnierz, Producer at Techland.

Alongside today’s announcement, Techland has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch launch will be available in both digital and physical versions of the game. Square Enix will be publishing the physical version in both the US and Canada. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will be available for $19.99 USD.
