Ashen is preparing to leave Epic Games Sore exclusivity this December, opening it to launch on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this year. Here’s everything we know.

It’s not odd if you hear that a game is leaving Epic Games Store exclusivity. The publisher, Epic Games, has been working hard making exclusivity deals, ensuring that the games they pick up launch in a timely manner, get some solid first-party support, but also ensure that the developers and publishers get more return for their product.

While that sounds nice to many, some have been holding off due to how the transactions have been handled, leading them to hold off until a Steam or GOG launch has been confirmed. Among those games is Ashen, which as promised, is leaving EGS exclusivity on December 9th, 2019, opening it up to full launches on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

In Ashen you will get the chance to partner up with both AI and human-controller characters in a somber and lethal world, one where players will find high-rewards for high-risk situations. With it being a Soulsborne style game, fans are surely going to eat it up and dive right on in this December.

If you’ve been holding off, it seems this winter will be your chance to finally dust off your Soulsborne gloves, and prepare to explore a beautiful, but somber world.
