An unprecedented supernatural flood has submerged the city of Oakmont, Massachusetts underwater, and it’s up to you to find out why in ‘The Sinking City’ from Bigben and Frogwares Studio.

Released today on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, gamers can dive into the horrific mystery that is The Sinking City, a game inspired by the master of horror’s works, H.P. Lovecraft. Taking the role of Charles Reed, players will explore the root cause of the flood around them as a private detective, who will find the oppressive and murky atmosphere their playground to enjoy.

But whatever has affected the city isn’t alone. It has begun to take hold of the minds of those in Oakmont, turning them, in ways, into something not all that human and it is up to Charles to make split-second and sometimes heartbreaking choices that will come with heavy consequences for the city itself.
