Earlier today, Sony and Square Enix have finally given us a glimpse at Final Fantasy VII Remake with a brand new trailer, but also, a hint that more is to come at E3 2019 next month.

In a surprise reveal today, Square Enix and Sony have given us our first glimpses of Final Fantasy VII Remake since it traded hands and ended up back at Square Enix and in the supervision of long-time Final Fantasy director, Tetsuya Nomura.

After months of silence, it seems that things are finally shaping up, and that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be following in the steps of Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV as an action-RPG with the focus being primarily on players taking the role of Cloud Strife like before.

However, what we don’t see, is how players will manage the team, and if they’ll be giving orders, something akin to that of what players experienced in Final Fantasy XV. For now, however, the trailer above is all we have to run on until this June.
