The upcoming open-world title from Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic isn’t just about to make your blood run cold, it’s about to turn your world into a frozen wasteland you’ll be forced to call your home.

The official launch trailer for Fade to Silence is finally here and it’s giving us one solid look at the frigid world that Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic have been hard at work creating as of late. Their open-world survival title isn’t just about the snow and ice that have overtaken the world, but things that only your nightmares would make you believe exist: Demons.

With Fade to Silence coming out of Early Access (via Steam) on April 30th, 2019, which coincides with both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launches, we’ve finally gotten our chance to know what we should expect as an eternal winter prepares to ravage our world. The trailer is clearly giving us a look at our protagonist Ash as he’s being assaulted by a demonic figure in a temple.

From there, we’re treated with a glimpse of the beautiful frozen wasteland Black Forest Games has created only to give us a bigger view of the cataclysmic winter that has taken over the world. You can check out the official trailer down below.

Fade to Silenceis currently available on Steam via Early Access for $29.99 and will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in its final build on April 30th, 2019.
