Ahead of the games May 14, 2019, release date for RAGE 2; Bethesda has released a new gameplay teaser revealing some high-paced action, new abilities, and a look at a few of the abilities you’ll get to use.
Bethesda has officially released a new look at their upcoming punk-rock inspired shooter RAGE 2. Expanding upon previously teased gameplay elements, Bethesda has given us a new look at previously mentioned mechanics.
In the video, players get to see Ranger Walker’s trip to new locations including a dilapidated shanty town, the wild and dusty plans of the outback, and even a simulation to unlock a brand new ability that Ranger Walker will use against those troublesome River Hogs, the Faction, and even the Immortal Shrouded.
Just like the content we previewed as part of our coverage from QuakeCon 2018, RAGE 2 isn’t slowing down by any means. As seen above, the combat is high-octane action-packed fun-filled to the brim with explosions of every sort.
The new nine-minute teaser above gives us our first look at a chaos-filled ballet where bullets fly, abilities throw up barriers, a vacuum-like warp, and our first look at just how big and mean a mech-suit can actually be. It carries on the very idea of what we said last year after going hands-on with the game, stating that “combat is fluid-like, responding rather quickly to the controller in my hands.”
We can’t wait to get our hands on RAGE 2 when the creativity from the masters of open-world mayhem Avalanche Studios and the masters of first-person-shooters over at id Software releases on May 14, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
