Were you affected by the Activision Blizzard Layoffs? These devs are hiring.

Layoffs aren’t easy to comprehend or even swallow by any means. To some, it simply reads as “you were expendable, so we let you go” in order to keep their companies going. For some, that’s exactly how today’s news felt for those both affected and left unaffected. But, there are developers reaching out to those looking for jobs and here’s everything we know.

Today’s news has been rough for hundreds of former Activision Blizzard staffers that came into work knowing their jobs were coming to an end. Among the news, Activision Blizzard’s stocks began to rebound as their internal restructuring efforts continue to move forward for the time being.

However, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. In the Twitterverse, developers have been reaching out, and even members of the community have begun to do so as well.  The person in charge of this movement is Jennifer Scheurle, lead game designer at ArenaNet, and a renowned member of the gaming industry in her efforts to help those affected by job cuts in the industry over the years.

Her tweet above wasn’t unheard as developers from around the world have begun to post their job listings for those affected. If you’re one of those people hit with the layoffs, there are jobs on the market and plenty of them ranging from independent studios to major names such as Rockstar Games, SIE, Bethesda Zenimax, Digital Extremes, Hi-Rez Studios, ArenaNet, and many more. More importantly, if you are a developer, publisher, studio, or the likes, here’s a few ladies looking for a job and offer a wide array of skill and talent.
