Fans of the Atelier series from Gust is preparing for another entry with Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland, which will be launching on May 21, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

The recently announced title will continue on where Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland left off in 2012. In this latest entry, players will take on the role of Elmerulia “Lulia” Fryxel, a young aspiring alchemist who studied underneath her mentor Piana.

Wishing to become a great alchemist just like her mother, Rorolina Frixell, Lulua will discover a mysterious Codex, which in turn, awakens an ancient power deep within her. As it awakens, Lulua finds herself able to decrypt but a single page, one that leaves her with more questions than it did answers.

Your adventure will take place through the gathering, battling, and synthesizing that the Atelier series has been known for in order to decipher more of the Codex’s pages. As players seek to uncover more of the Codex’s mysteries, they will meet characters such as Rorolina Firxell; the ex-apprentice of Rorona, Totooria Helmold, an influential alchemist and her personal guardian, Mimi Houllier Von Schwarzlang, and last but not least, the chief of the ‘Guardian Force’, Sterkenburg Cranach.
