Apex Legends is about to get even bigger, better, and louder than ever before. Also, a Battle Pass is on its way later this year.

Since the surprise launch of Apex Legends just last week, EA and Respawn Entertainment have seen a mind-blowing amount of success from the free-to-play three-man squad-based Battle Royale title. As part of their ongoing process, Vince Zampella, CEO and co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, has revealed the companies upcoming plans to help grow their game past what it already is.

In a recent announcement, Zampella has revealed that they are looking at making “changes based on player feedback and experiences.” Along with his noting that they are listening to their fans, there are also a few things getting ready to get underway including a Twitch Rivals Apex Legends Challenge, sponsored by Twitch, a Valentines Day Event that includes in-game goodies, and even an upcoming Battle Pass along with brand new Legends, weapons, loot, and more heading our way rather soon.

First up is the Twitch Rivals Apex Legends Challenge which is set to start on Tuesday 12th and February 19, 2019. The challenge will feature 48 of Twitch’s biggest streamers competing against one another live in Apex Legends. Those looking to do so can follow the official Apex Legends Twitch channel where Respawn will be co-hosting the challenge themselves.

Those looking for a bit more reason to show why they are the best of the best can do so on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2019, as there will be a limited-time event including themed loot and items to earn and obtain during this time. If that’s not for you, Zampella has also revealed that Season One of Apex Legends will kick off in March, featuring the games very first Battle Pass alongside brand new Legends, weapons, loot, and more for fans to earn.

If that’s not enough, the team has also revealed that the game has more than two million concurrent players and is growing at a steady rate and they hope it will continue to do so moving forward.
