In a surprise announcement, XSEED Games has revealed that Fate/EXTELLA LINK will be releasing on both PC and Nintendo Switch alongside the previously announced PlayStation 4 and Vita versions of the game.
In a surprise announcement, XSEED Games has revealed that their highly-anticipated upcoming action title, Fate/EXTELLA LINK, will be headed to the Nintendo Switch and PC via steam in Q1 2019.
Alongside this announcement, XSEED Games has also revealed that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will also receive the premium “Fleeting Glory Edition” of the game, which will feature a soundtrack, a pack of collective x10 cards that will put all new servants on display and even a 17×24 cloth poster for fans to collect alongside the 4.5” acrylic diorama featuring renowned Servants Nero, Drake, and Scáthach. All of these items will be housed in a special custom box made just for this edition of the game.
XSEED Games has also revealed that the Switch and Steam versions of the game will launch side-by-side with the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game. The Vita version launching as a digital-only release through the PlayStation Store. Those who do pick up the game will be able to pick up right where the 2017 title Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star left fans hanging as they needed to know more.
As a new way to approach the game and expand upon previous elements, XSEED Games has confirmed that 10 new Servants will be joining the roster, bringing it up to a total of 26 Servants for fans to undertake the adventures that await them with. Alongside the increased number of Servants, the team has also confirmed that the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam versions will also include a grand-scale of 4-on-4 online battles with up to 7 other players as they assume the role of some of the franchises most beloved Servant’s and the power of the Noble Phantasm.
Developed by Marvelous and slated for publishing in North America, XSEED Games has confirmed that Fate/EXTELLA LINK will release in Q1 2019 and will be available for $49.99 for the basic game for $79.99 for the physical “Fleeting Glory Edition” for PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation Vita and PC versions will be available through digital distribution for $39.99 and $49.99.
