LEGO DC Super-Villains is now available

Released yesterday, LEGO DC Super-Villains is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The latest adventure sees DC fans take on an entirely new role that doesn’t include the Caped Crusader and his ragtag band of superheroes in the latest LEGO adventure.

In their latest release, LEGO and DC have teamed up to leave their fingerprints on their latest and original story set in the DC universe. In the latest release, which is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, fans will get to take on the role of some of DC’s most renowned Super-Villains including The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, and many others in their latest LEGO adventure.

With this bad guy-centric title, fans will get to see the villains of the DC universe somehow manage to turn superheroes in order to keep the world they know from being destroyed by some other-dimensional imposters who look to take on the role of the superheroes that had vanished.

In comments about the release, Arthur Parsons, head of Design at TT Games Publishing has made a statement alongside Phillip Ring, Executive Producer at TT Games publishing. “With the amount of content packed into LEGO DC Super-Villains, along with the Season Pass content in store, there is loads of mischievous fun for players to jump into,” said Parsons.

Players will be captivated by the story and adventure, embarking on hours of content including story levels, quests, recruiting and unlocking other villain characters to join you, and exploring the hidden secrets scattered throughout Gotham and Metropolis,” states Philip Ring. With the release of Lego DC Super-Villains, there’s no doubt that fans aren’t going to be captivated by this newly and carefully crafted story that lets us see an entirely new side to the villains we’ve come to know and love over the years.

DC has some of the most popular Super-Villains in the world and it’s exciting to see these characters call the shots in this new game,” said Ames Kirshen, Vice President, Interactive & Animation, DC Entertainment. “Fans will love teaming up with The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor and host of other DC characters as they play through this light-hearted story set in iconic DC locations.

One of the real charms is getting to play these kinds of games with your family and friends and Sean McEvoy, VP Digital Games, The Lego group has acknowledged that very approach, “Whether you’re playing solo or with a partner in crime for two-player, local co-op, LEGO® DC Super-Villains brings the family-friendly fun, with a playful, villainous twist that both new and existing players will enjoy.”

For the first time ever in LEGO history, fans will be able to create their own unique character, a villain that will be stepping into the DC world while teaming up with DC’s renowned Legion of Doom as they play through the story mode of LEGO DC Super-Villains. You will get to unlock new abilities, powers, and continue customizing your character throughout the game.

As part of their announced release, A Delux Edition of the game is available, which features the base game, a Season Pass and early access to the DC Super-Villains: TV Series DLC Character Pack. The game is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
