Insurgency: Sandstorm is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed indie title, Insurgency, which is now available for Windows PC. Now, the sequel is set to debut this December and to help make the release even stronger, the developer has extended the pre-order Beta to help better prepare the game.

Originally planned to hit digital shelves later this month for PC users, developer New World Interactive has confirmed that their upcoming title has been pushed back to obtain more player feedback and further polishing of their upcoming title. The extra time will be used to improve and polish the game further, allowing for an overall better experience when it launches on Dec. 12, 2018.

New World Interactive has confirmed that the Pre-Order Beta will be running until the game releases, allowing for fans to test the game as well as get a feel for how high quality it will be when it launches. The team is working hard on new community and online features that will be available at the time of launch.

Steam pre-orders, including the 10% discount, will be available until the release of the game. Additionally, those who own the first title will still qualify for the loyalty discount of 10% until the end of March of 2019, and will see players move on with the latest adventures to be had across entirely new battlegrounds than before.

Insurgency: Sandstorm will release on PC on December 12th, and Xbox One and PS4 in 2019. The pre-order beta is available on Steam and is ongoing until the official launch of the game.
