Through an official statement, Koei Tecmo, the publisher of the famed Team NINJA-developed fighting franchise, has revealed the official release date for Dead or Alive 6 as well as launch editions, characters, and information about the story.
Set to launch on February 15, 2019, Koei Tecmo has revealed that Dead or Alive 6, the iconic fighting series will see both physical and digital launches for Windows via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One early next year. Along with the platforms where the game will release, Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have also released the first details regarding digital pre-order bonuses for the game.
These digital bonuses include a Dead or Alive 6 theme for PlayStation 4 and “The Female Tengu” Nyotengu as a playable character. Xbox One players can look forward to both Nyotengu and a Ryu Hayabusa pre-order exclusive costume as their pre-order bonuses. Along with the pre-order bonuses, those who purchase a digital copy of Dead or Alive 6 before March 15, 2019, will receive a bonus costume for Kasumi.
Steam users can look forward to collecting both the Kasumi costume as well as Nyotengue as a downloadable character. Along with this news, Team NINJA has also revealed a Digital Deluxe edition which will feature 25 extra costumes, three extra musical tracks, and a DDX exclusive Kasumi costume along with her clone, Phase 4, as a playable character when it launches.
