Just months after the multi-million selling hit game Warhammer: Vermintide 2 landed on PC via Steam, Fatshark has announced they are gearing up for a console release on Xbox One next month. Pre-Orders are open starting today, find out more starting now.
During a press statement, Fatshark, the independent developer behind the critically acclaimed hit title, has revealed that their sequel to Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide will be launching on July 11, 2018, for Xbox One. There has been no mentioning of the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
“After the huge success with the release of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 on PC, we are happy and excited to bring the game to Xbox One.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO at Fatshark. “We can’t wait to stick it to the Skaven and Chaos on another platform.”
Along with his statement, the team has also revealed that an Open Beta for Warhammer 2: Vermintide has officially begun for Xbox Insider Program users and is available to everyone who wishes to give the game a try. Additionally, those who are looking to get the game can now pre-order the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Premium Edition, which includes the following items:
- Sigmar Keep Statue
- Helmgart Heraldry Themed Skins
- Exclusive Pre-order Portrait Frame
- Premium Edition Portrait Frame
- 6x Exclusive Heroic Deeds
As a newly added feature, Fatshark has also confirmed that they have added Mixer Intergration into the game, which will help you stream the game, and even allow your viewers to participate in your game by voting on what’s coming next, what you’ll face off against, and plenty more. Additionally, the team has revealed that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will also be available via Xbox Game Pass at the day of release and that players can upgrade to the Premium Edition as well.
