SOULCALIBUR VI to launch this October, release editions revealed

Nearly six years have passed since the release of Soul Calibur V, Bandai Namco has happily revealed during their E3 showcase that SOULCALIBUR VI will be releasing this October and has outlined multiple editions of the upcoming game.

During E3 2018, Publisher and Developer Bandai Namco has revealed the official launch date for SOULCALIBUR VI, which will see the souls of their fans once more reignite. Starting Oct. 19, 2018, fans on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam can once more step into the arena with some of the franchises most renowned fighters and CD Projekt Red’s character Geralt of Rivia, who will be guest starring in the upcoming title.

SOULCALIBUR VI will take place in the 16th century where players will go on a voyage of discovery to uncover the vents from the original SOULCALIBUR to learn the hidden truths that have been long-since buried. Along the way, players will discover many new stories, master characters ranging from series mainstay fighters such as Mitsurugi and Sophitia while mastering newcomers such as GrØh.

During E3 2018, Bandai Namco has also released the latest trailer for the game, which will give you a glimpse into the story ahead of the games Oct. 19, 2018, launch.

Along with the trailer reveal, Bandai Namco has announced two special editions of the game, which will launch later this year. You can see their details down below.
