Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor Martyr is the first action RPG in the long-running dystopian sci-fi fantasy franchise and will be released on June 5, 2018, for PC with a launch for consoles coming on July 5, 2018.
Since the creation of the Warhammer 40,000 universe by Games Workshop, it seemed several things would remain a fact. One, it seemed that the series would never get an action RPG series and would forever be stuck with RTS and an assorted lot of shooter titles ranging from third-person shooters to first-person shooters with team-based elements.
However, NeocoreGames has come out and is ready to show the world that this won’t be the case anymore. With their latest trailer for the upcoming title Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr, NeocoGames is showing off some of the games major features which will be available starting next week when the game launches on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
If you’re wanting a full rundown of all the changes being made, you’ll want to grab a journal, the list is long, so let’s just take a look at the newly released trailer.
In the upcoming title, you will take on the role of an Inquisitor, a member of the Imperium of Man’s Inquisition. You will take on various missions for this secret organization, taking on a myriad of enemies ranging from heretics, mutants, rebel fighters, Xeno’s, and the Chaos Legion.
Just as the series is known for, Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr will keep true to the dark and grisly tone the franchise is known for along with the blood and the gore. The company has revealed that the game will feature a number of destructible environments, a cover system, vehicles, and an advanced AI that will see to it that players are given the toughest of challenges available.
Along with this information, you will also travel across the stars utilizing the games Starmap which will see that fans visit recognizable planets from the franchise’s lore. During your time carrying out various assignments and investigations, players will also be able to craft their very own missions using the games card system known as “Uther’s Tarot”.
Will you take on the role of a Crusader, an Assassin or a Pysker when you answer the Emperor of Man’s call? If so, prepare to explore a deep and amazingly detailed character progression system filled to the brim with skill trees, traits, and the ability to upgrade and customize your gear as you play. Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr will feature co-op gameplay, PVP, Cabals/guilds, leaderboards, and global events. Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr is set for release on June 5, 2018, for PC while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release was delayed to July 5, 2018.
