In preparation for the release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA for the Nintendo Switch, NIS America has announced that the upcoming definitive edition of the game will come with free bonus DLC. As part of their initiative to make this the best version possible, NIS America has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version if Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will release with all previously released content when it launches on June 26, 2018.

The upcoming DLC for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will feature new character customization items including new outfits, new Hug Hug Pals, stylish glasses, and even some Ancient Masks to wear. Additionally, NIS America has revealed that Adol, Laxia, Ricotta, and Dana will all get some Tropic Swimwear in order to help usher in the warmest days of summer. The company has also revealed a new Eternian Scholar outfit for Laxia to wear.

The DLC will be released with every copy of the game free of charge and will let fans have immediate access the moment they start on June 26, 2018. Additionally, the team has announced a “Adventurers Edition” will be available at launch and is now available for pre-order. Stay tuned for our review.
