Today, indie developer Fatshark has announced that their upcoming title Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is now live via a Pre-Order Beta. Everyone who has bought Warhammer: Vermintide 2, the sequel to last years multi-million selling title Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, will be able to experience the games current state up until March 8, 2018, starting today.
As part of their announcement, Fatshark CEO, Martin Wahlund, sent out a small statement to show his appreciation for fans of the series, “First of all, we are thankful that so many bought the game early on, and we are happy to involve all owners of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 in the Pre-Order Exclusive BETA.”
Additionally, fans who decide to pre-order the game via Steam can save an additional 10% on the game ahead of its release. As a true sequel, players will get to experience enhanced visuals, stunning graphics, and improved gameplay elements from the previous title.
Set in the End Times events of the Warhammer universe, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 introduces a new enemy faction known as the Chaos faction, a fierce and brutal enemy unlike anything players have seen before. In order to help fight them off, Fatshark has included 15 total hero careers, new environments, talent tres and a new proprietary Heroic Deeds System for players to enjoy.
Vermintide 2 is a visually stunning and groundbreaking melee action game pushing the boundaries of the first person co-op genre. Set in the End Times, the game introduces the dark, bloody and twisted Chaos as an enemy faction. Other new features include 15 hero careers, new environments, talent trees and the proprietary Heroic Deeds System.
