QuakeCon to Rip and Tear in Dallas This August

Coming this August, QuakeCon will once more be returning to the prestigious Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. Known as the biggest four-day video game festival and LAN party, QuakeCon is preparing to invite thousands of gamers from around the world to do two things: play games and get a glimpse at some exclusive content about Bethesda’s upcoming games.

Along with the news of QuakeCon making its way to the Gaylord Texas from August 9, 2018, through August 12, 2018. During the course of that weekend, over 9,000 attendees will gather in order to celebrate video games as a whole. This year will also reintroduce panels, presentations, along with three days of exhibits for attendees to enjoy. The QuakeCon 2018 expo hall, for the first time ever, will be open Friday through Sunday and will remain free, just as int he past, for the general public.

All of this is made possible thanks to the support of id Software, Bethesda Softworks, QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the 2018 event sponsors and exhibitors. So what do you need to know? Let’s take a look.
