Since its exclusive release on PlayStation 4, Nioh has been one of the most beloved dark fantasy action-RPGs in recent years. The game has been met with both critical and commercial success when it launched last year, by taking fans to never-before-seen stories within Japan’s history. Today, Koei Tecmo has announced that Nioh: Complete Edition will be headed to PC via Steam this fall.

The newly released version will come with hours of content for fans to enjoy including all the games DLC expansions including ‘Dragon of the North’, ‘Defiant Honor, and ‘Bloodshed’s End’, as well as the base game. To help rally PC gamers to “DefyDeath”, the games director, Fumihiko Yasuda commented that he and Team Ninja are “well aware of the fact that many gamers have been passionately asking for a PC version of “Nioh”. I am thrilled to announce that this massocore game will finally be available for our die-hard PC fans in Nioh: Complete Edition! I hope you all enjoy the unforgettable drama and deeply challenging Yokai battles this action-packed experience has to offer.

This newly released digital-only version will boast a few new features from its predecessor. This new one will include two new modes including “Action Mode”, at a stable 60fps in 1080p, or “Movie Mode”, which is the more cinematic option, allowing fans to enjoy 5K resolutions while playing. The two new graphically enhanced modes will bring the world of Nioh to life in ways we’ve never-before-seen.

The family of helmets are known for featuring fantastical designs in history.  This new helmet will feature a red-lacquered front crest of an ancient Buddhist symbol, which depicts the eightfold path to nirvana. Something players will surely need while they take on the deeper levels int he game, including the ultimate challenge: The Abyss.

The Abyss is an ethereal world, made up of innumerable floors, and will offer up some of the games most punishingly difficult bosses for players to take on. Because of its considerable risks and elevating difficulty, players are able to summon up to two other visitors to help overcome the dangers that await them in the deepest depths of the Abyss itself.
