Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Heavensward Info Released

Sitting as one of the biggest MMORPG’s out to date, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn got a host of information that landed at the games first European FFXIV Fan Festival. At the Festival in London, Square Enix released new information regarding the expansion that is coming up to completion.

Releasing the information was Director and Producer of the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn project, Naoki Yoshida, introduced new information regarding the new flying mounts, new beast tribes and primals and the games new upcoming job: Dark Knight. In the press conference he announced that there will be two types of mounts that players can obtain. The new flying mounts will allow players to take to the skies with a flying black chocobo, the single-rider airships. This will allow players to explore the floating lands that are going to be predominantly focused upon within this new expansion.

The beast tribes that were mentioned will also be present: Vanu Vanu and Gnath. Both are featuring their primals both the Bismarck for the Vanu Vanu and the Ravana for the Gnath. This will also feature the new Dark Knight class that will allow players to serve as a tank that wields two-handed greatswords. They will also be darkness action based jobs. This will not feature a class that later will evolve into a job. So choose wisely when it comes time to do so. Mister Yoshida also went on to state that there will be more jobs coming up that aren’t yet announced (his gesture was made while making a gun shooting motion). He stated that more information regarding new details and jobs will be later announced between December 20th to the 21st at the Tokyo Fan Festival for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
