If you are one of those people who like to go into a four-day video game festival, this is right up your alley. As of today, Bethesda Softworks and id Software have announced that QuakeCon 2015 will be hosting thousands of gamers from around the world at North Americas LARGEST BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) based LAN Party. So what does this mean? Thanks to id Software and Bethesda Softworks, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the 2015 event sponsors as well as exhibitors, they plan on once more making this year another big and amazing event.
So when does this take place? July 23rd through July 26th of 2015. This means that you, the gamers, will once more get to rally up at The Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, for an amazing and awesome large event, but also stay right there at the hotel itself! So how can you prepare for this event? So what’s important about this year? For those that are not aware, QuakeCon 2015 is about to celebrate it’s 20th anniversary, and you are all invited to go! So what does this mean? Grab your reservations, get ready to reserve your spot at this years BYOC and enjoy the things to do there! Oh wait, what is there to do? Let me tell you; plenty. After having attended this year, you can expect to see some of Bethesda’s most highly anticipated titles make their debut with preview panels, hands on experiences, but also a chance to meet some of the amazing exhibits that are there. For those that think that’s all, prepare for more; QuakeCon also features tournaments, game presentations, contests, entertainment, announcements, panel discussions, parties, and well; lots more.
